Company Information
Founded in 1969, by Mr. Ralph Ceseņa Sr., Ceseņa Distributing Company's initial focus
as a company included the promotion of specialized farm implements, primarily in Latin
American countries such as Mexico.
In 1987, Ceseņa Distributing Company began promoting conservation tillage technologies
in Mexico with the Buffalo® farm equipment line. Based on the company's efforts,
ridge-till farming is now a common practice in Mexico, providing the country's farmers
with a much more cost-effective method of competing in the global marketplace.
As a result of the successes in Mexico, Ceseņa Distributing elected to begin promoting
conservation tillage in the United States. In October of 1996, the company planted it's
first field in California utilizing the ridge-till system.
